I've been teaching for 16 years. I have been teaching in the Multi-age Program at West for 12 years now and continue to love every year.
I graduated from MTSU with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education.
I recently went back to school and received my Endorsement in ESL and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am happily married to Russ Newby for 17 years.
My son, Jacob, age 11 attends WCMS.
I have a daughter, Jessie, age 10 who is in the 5th grade at West Elementary.
I also have another daughter, Jenna, age 1 who keeps me running at home. I have a black poodle named Curley Joe who thinks everyone who comes to visit is there to see him.
Favorite things: I enjoy reading, taking pictures, and traveling with my family-(Soccer field, Football field, Baseball/Softball field, and basketball court). Sometimes we sneak in a vacation. I attend church at Central Church of Christ.
