Primary B performed an adaptation of "Tree Girl" by T.A. Barron. This novel tells the magical tale of Rowanna and her quest to find her mother. She encounters many mystical creatures called drumaloes or "tree spirits". The story shows that love of family is the strongest emotion.

The Primary B students also told about the Sunset Hill Arboetum walking trail that is adjacent to West Elementary. They celebrated Warren County's bicenntenial and displayed a picture of "The Birthing Tree".
